Group Tapping is NOT Group Therapy

I'm not a therapist. I am an EFT practitioner and Emotional Success Coach. I feel more and more comfortable with "Emotional Success Coach", because these days I FEEL emotionally successful. I am focusing my business on group tapping because in studies, it ranks nearly as effective as 1-1 tapping, AND it's much more affordable. Simple Affordable Stress Relief, that's the brand. In fact, I currently have a single use subscription called "Try Group Tapping" that will give you 4 Tapping Circles for $40 + applicable taxes. That's 1990's drop-in-yoga-in-a-church-basement pricing! And if you're the only one registered, it will still run like group tapping.
What does group tapping look like at Tap Together? It's not going around the circle and baring our souls. It's methods that are both generic on the surface and specific for everyone in the circle. Take the grocery bag technique: we all imagine putting different stresses in our imaginary grocery bag, so that when we are tapping about all the stuff we put in there, it's individual.
At Tap Together, we don't use the spot lighting technique. Spot lighting is when one person is brave enough to tackle their personal issue in front of the group and we all tap along and borrow benefits. Spot lighting can be very valuable, but I believe it is more valuable for everyone to work on their own specific issues side by side. In a Tap Together Tapping Circle, you don't spill your guts. Hopefully nobody breaks down, but if you do, I've got you! In my tapping circles, you tap together with others who have similar issues and get relief by focusing on your own specifics. We all tap together about slightly different issues, and it is never required that you reveal what your exact issue is. If this feels like something you could use, I am currently running the following tapping circles: Relief for Everyday Stress: Monday, 8pm Eastern Parenting Neurodivergent Kids: Tuesdays, 8pm Eastern Food Cravings and Emotional Eating: Fridays, 8pm Eastern Testing and Exam Stress (under 18 with parental consent): Sundays, 5pm Eastern I am open to other topics and scheduling, and will do private tapping circles if you have 4 to 8 people who want to do work around the same topic. If 1-1 is more your style, or if you want to ask me questions, I offer a one hour Free Consult and a free 15 min Curiosity Call. If you want to have an experience of tapping, just sign the waiver and we can tap together. Warmly,
Kimberly
